I have seen many products and devices catering towards the blind, but none have been more interesting or urgently needed than the Braille Buddy. The Braille Buddy was designed by Yasaman Sheri as a way of teaching people how to read and write in braille.
The Braille Buddy can teach the letters of the alphabet by prompting the user with a letter and a corresponding braille symbol. The user then draws the letter with their finger and moves on. The Braille Buddy would definitely allow for a more convenient means of learning braille.
