At the beginning of the year, news of Brad Pitt fronting a new ad campaign for Japanese denim brand Edwin broke with a couple of print ads. Now, the Japan-only commercials for the Brad Pitt Edwin campaign have emerged.

The spots were shot by famed photographer and frequent Pitt collaborator Steven Klein with a theme of road-trip, driving on the highway, and camping.

The commercials have a vibe of a renegade or a rebel on the run that reminds me of Justin Timberlake’s recent campaign for William Rast.
