If you have a great idea for the next big thing (when it comes to tech start-ups), then you’ll want to get in line for the Billionaire Bootcamp through Y Combinator. Of course, the competition is very fierce as applicants vie for acceptance knowing that those accepted and successful will get start-up cash, as well as hardcore training in the boot camp.
Calling all geeks! Do you have a hot idea for a start-up? If so, this boot camp where Silicon Valley meets 'American Idol' is for you. That is, if you make the cut.
In sort of a mash-up of "American Idol" and Wired magazine, a company called Y Combinator culls through hundreds of applications twice a year to select a dozen or so start-up tech companies to receive seed money and participate in a boot-camp-like environment to get a product out.
