Ever wondered what your dining room would look like after a visit from a serial killer? This bloody ‘Dexter’-inspired example designed by Amy Lau for Showtime’s Design House may give you some idea.

The ultimate in dramatic dining, this macabre, crime scene dining room setting is abundant with gorgeously gory details such as blood spatter-embroidered chairs, vein-like streaks running down the stems of the glassware, candlesticks shaped like human vertebrae, red ink stains representing the blood of the victim, and the wrapped table and plastic-sheathed floor resembling the protective plastic Dexter uses to protect against evidence of his killing being left behind.
