A bizarre catalogue of danger, impending death and final death, these paintings by Fred Einaudi are truly haunting. This artist is clearly not afraid to push the boundaries of taboo, as seen by the smile on the woman’s face as she carries the tub full of skulls, children examining fetus’, and women engaging with animals in ways that are just disturbing. The characters in these paintings are so engaging - it feels like you are standing right in front of them; a part of their strange situation.
