Within about four months' time, Bonanzle has jumped into contention with the "big boys" amongst eBay alternatives, amassing an inventory of almost half a million strange & wonderful items and more than 10,000 unique visitors per day. Sounds like a trend to me.

The heart of the community is what makes Bonanzle such a cool venue. Chat with your seller in real time, right then, no waiting for back and forth emails. Yes, there are unique and bizarre items for sale on Bonanzle but if you're looking for new products you will find them there, too. These new products won't necessarily be shiny mass produced stuff, but that's what makes Bonanzle just different enough and the one ebay alternative to watch!

I have been watching the online marketplaces this year. When I discovered Bonanzle I fell in love with the simplicity. Over the past months the site has gone from under 1000 when I signed up to close to 13,000 as of today. Looks like other people like the simplicity too! Of course, it really helps that the creators are paying attention to the sellers when they ask for simpler ways in which to provide their customers with the best possible experience! That is what its about.

Hahahah... "fake trend hunter" is a pejorative I never thought I'd have levied against me. I am a real person (at least I seem to be, existential debates aside), and I reckon the other comments are equally real. And I have seen a lot of trends, though I hadn't heard of using this site to discuss them until recently. I'm glad I found it though, and I think it would be a shame if the commenters' newness to Trendhunter diluted the credibility of trendspotting, when this (Bonanzle) is a site whose traffic and sales are about as trend-like as they come. Bonanzle is a very friendly, low cost venue for sellers and a great place for buyers. You can get a free booth that is easy to build and very functional. Live chat and forums makes me feel comfortable when buying.

Interesting...it was my familiarity with Bonanzle that brought me here to this site, which I thought would be really cool for tracking trends. I did not sign up on it yesterday when I first saw it because I had no frame of reference, but when I saw Bonanzle on here, it encouraged me to sign up. I want to use this site...and I have to start somewhere. Needless to say, I am concerned before I even get a chance to get started.

I'm currently selling on Ebay, but with all the changes I'm seriously concerned that it won't be a viable market for smaller sellers in the near future. I heard about Bonanzle from the PSU forums and checked it out. It's friendly, fees are cheap and not a ton of rules so I joined and have made quite a few sales.

Thank you Cabin Fever! Well said, If I didn't miss the mark though, this is a debate on whether we are a new trend. The point then would be is to let these people know that their opinions can be changed by keeping this in the forefront. Some one who tells me enough already is going to get the exact opposite! So that being said, Going like sixty needs to just drop on over to bonanzle and check it out. browse, and chat with the sellers. Hit the forums, and see what it is really about. Then, can anyone give an informed opinion on whether this should be enough, the operative word being opinion. That is one in over 12,000 that think differently. Kat~

Isn't a trend just a twist on an old idea? Clothing trends are just new ways of arranging or coloring fabrics. I do know selling online is an "old" idea, but Bonanzle is like no other place I have seen. I think they are setting a new trend for their market. Maybe I am misunderstanding trends.

Give me the definition of "Trend". Then give me the definition of "opinion", then tell me again why this in "your" opinion is excessively promotional? This website, is unlike any other website out there, and sure, product and people may be the same, but "strategy" is New, not old. That is what we are looking for here. A soul, that will sustain us. Not fall to megalomaniacs, insider trading, and bots taking over "our" decisions. Selling on-line is over 10 or more years old, however, mainstreaming into today's demands, and staying one step ahead is whats happening here. This is like walking down 5th Ave, in your own home. It has integrity, something a lot of sites these days lack. Kat~

Trendy, tecky, ticky, tacky, grabby, ugly, pretty....and when there - you cannot pull away from a site that does not require you to open a booth to view a "museum of sorts", with trendy, useful, useless, historical, hysterical, now, then, funny, cool, too beautiful stuff. Whether you buy it, sell it, view it, doesn't matter.....it is there for all to see - Bonanzle!
