You only have to sit in a traffic jam for ten minutes to admit that there's a major problem with urban automotive circulation, but projects like the Biway Bus concept aim to bring improved efficiency to public transportation options to make such means of travel both cost-effective and attractive.

When instigated appropriately, shuttles, streetcars, subways and trains are better for the environment than a series of single-occupied vehicles on the road. With the goal to boost sustainability for this type of conveyance, the Biway Bus concept goes the extra mile to strive for zero-emissions journeys.

The Biway Bus concept designers, Kamyshev Vitaly and Aleshina Ekaterina, unveiled their idea at the 2010 Michelin Challenge Design, offering improved economy with carriages that function as buses or locomotives on both wheels and rail.
