Although heavy, ornate furniture not only stands the test of time but also denotes quality, that's not always the case, as demonstrated with the Bitta collection. A simple yet stunning line of furniture, these breezy pieces will surely keep you company for the long haul.

Designed for Spanish manufacturer KETTAL, the Bitta collection features "aluminium frames, seats of braided polyester and comfortable cushions," according to the Italian architect Rodolfo Dordoni. It was inspired by boats, hence the name, which means mooring in Italian.
