Hanging off the docks in Maubeuge, these jaulas de lux (luxury cages) add a soothing ambiance to what appears to be the Sambre canal. 70 glowing gold birdcages serve as dazzling illuminations to help enhance the already-romantic scenery of this city in the North of France.

The gold glowing bird cages, which are suspended like hanging flower baskets, cast soft yellow and orange hues onto the water below them.
