It’s okay to feel a bit weirded out when you look at these bird stilettos. It’s not even that they took inspiration from birds, aviation or animals; it literally looks like they put a bird in a machine and out came a high-heeled bird shoe. There is a method to this though and the shoe actually looks very good considering it’s one step short of being a chicken dinner.
Masaya Kushino isn’t one to shy away from pushing the boundaries of what fashion means, this shoe line entitled Bird-Witched are as much proof as you’ll ever need. While it’s difficult to think of the average person strapping up in these, they’re beautiful and unique enough to make a huge splash for a fashionista.
The bird may not be the word much anymore, but it can be a part of your wardrobe.
