If you're a fan of Birchbox's subscription service, another way to get at its products is the new retail shop in SoHo that will open its doors this Friday. The New York Birchbox shop will be full of products from over 250 beauty brands, making it an absolute haven for makeup lovers. The store offers beauty services for hair, nails and makeup in addition to a variety of classes, so that shoppers can try out products, learn what works best for them personally, as well as pick up some application tips.

The Birchbox of the month is put on display at the store's front and there's even a DIY box-building station where visitors to the store can put together their own Birchboxes from an assortment of samples.
