If you are someone like the geniuses depicted in the Big Bang Theory, the Binary Clock may be just right for you.

When first looking at this device, you probably wouldn’t guess it told time. The basic premise of the clock is that it has six columns, which have blue LED lights. Every two columns stand for the digits of the hour, minute and second. From this point on, you need to look from top to bottom in each column as each individual light represents the values of 1,2, 4 and 8. Add the values of the light squares, which then tells you the time.

In layman's terms, well there really is no better way to explain it. In that case, it may just be better to get a traditional clock or just continue using your phone to tell the time. Stats for Time Code Crackers Trending: Older & Chilly
