Method Studio's new bike storage furniture is a piece fit for a gallery, which was born out of an unlikely collaboration. While designer and woodworker Callum Robinson's most pressing issue at the moment is keeping his Border Collie from chewing up the furniture, he and his studio are on a sole mission to make things that are beautiful and carefully considered in every way.
His company Method Studio boasts its latest piece, 'Stasis,' combining Robinson's design aesthetic and passion for woodworking with the pipework of his fellow artisan and local heating engineer. It's a collaboration that was unlikely to ever happen, but has resulted in a piece that found an audience at the Royal Academy of Arts in London and currently graces the window of Spencer Hart. It's an ode to craftsmanship in all forms.
