German bike and chess fanatic, Didi Senft has built a very special chess-related product in honor of the World Chess Championships, currently being held in Bonn, Germany, the first time it is has been held there in 74 years.

The idea of the chess bike is a bicycle built for three, one rider in front pedals in the manner of a traditional bike, while the other two riders face each other over a chess board.

It’s an interesting idea, but what happens when you go over a bump and lose a chess piece?

Oh well! Checkmate!
