The Bibhu Mohapatra Resort 2014 Collection features a soft flutter of chiffon that serves as the shoulder of his crisp silk shirtdress and it reappears as the adornment of a keyhole-collar blouse.

Over the recent years, Mohapatra has become judicious with his flourishes. This collection was marked by that discipline, in that he has limited his collection to one decorative idea, a flock-like pattern inspired the look of a part of India colonized by the French, and he kept his shapes simple as well.

There was also a nice sense of communication between the designer's evening looks and his clothes for day, but he his focus is mainly on repetition. The collection has a lot of appeal.
