Benjamin McCloghry's 'Pools of Azure' Series is Playfully Colorful

Throughout the ‘Pools of Azure’ photo shoot, photographer Benjamin McCloghry concentrates on both the beachwear that his model is showcasing and the colorful poolside backdrop that he uses as his set. Full of geometric shapes and vibrant hues, the set looks more like a playground than a pool area. Benjamin McCloghry uses this fun ambiance to inject some dimension into the serious and sexy poses that his model strikes.

Working alongside stylist Isabelle Richards, Benjamin McCloghry masterfully accents the colors in each outfit as well as the patterns she has chosen to throw into the mix. Richards’ choice of a warm palette really stands out against the cool blues present in the scene. She also incorporates sheer bodysuits, high-waisted bloomers and light, slouchy knits.
