The collection of Bend to Squares' photos on Flickr almost all have a retro vibe to them. Although the first photo in the gallery does not depict this, it instead captures a stomach-dropping scene in which a girl is caught sleeping on railway tracks.

Implications - Since the development of photography, images are a lot more clean and crisp compared to the yellow-ish tan of 70s photographs. Despite the technological advancements, photographers display a preference for the grittier, retro approach. There's something about the raw nature of retro photographs that makes the subjects in it more genuine and honest. Perhaps this is a way of making viewers relate more to what they see.
