The science of flexible touchscreen technology is fast developing, enabling concepts such as the Bend tablet to become real possibilities. Robrecht Vanhauwere's idea was to think a dimension beyond the iPad, producing a touch-sensitive display that can be folded beyond 90 degrees.

Proposed for Samsung, this cutting-edge device has a metal frame that's doubled over, enabling you to prop it up in one of two orientations. Facilitating easy tabletop interaction or upright video-watching, the innovative gadget has another neat function up its sleeve. You could actually peel the screen of the Bend tablet away from its stiff border, releasing the pliant surface to rest it in front. With this setup, you can use the touchscreen flap as a transparent keyboard, solidifying this hypothetical product as a great all-in-one gizmo.
