The Belstaff Resort 2014 Collection is like "perfecting the perfecto," making perfect sense for a designer that has traded heavily on its motorcycle heritage since its relaunch in 2012.

Having tweaked the Trialmaster and the Roadmaster jackets, creative director Martin Cooper is now applying himself to the task of finessing the best-known moto standard.

Today it came in a variety of buttery bonded leathers, several lengths and even some silky tailored versions. While some designers still hew to Resort's original cruise mentality, Cooper has adopted a more buy-now, wear-now stance that's heavy on leather. Polka-dotted racing scarves he discovers in some moto photos from the fifties and sixties. The collection is perfect for breezy summer days.
