VH1's new digital series, 'Behind the Tweet,' is either an ironic examination of our social media obsession, or a signal that humanity is beginning to crumble under the weight of our collective Internet addictions.
Much like the network's Behind the Music series, Behind the Tweet goes backstage for an intimate glimpse into the lives of celebrities. At least, as "intimate" as you can get discovering what someone was thinking when they shot out a 140-character blurb into the digital stratosphere.
Each episode revolves around a single controversial tweet, with VH1's resident social media experts weighing in for good measure (because surely we mere plebs could not figure out a tweet's meaning on our own). Celebrities include Swimsuit Illustrated model Brooklyn Decker, former Destiny's Child Michelle Williams and comedian Hannibal Burress.
