This Chinese Resort Holds Beer Chugging Races to Gain Free Entry

'Happy Valley' is a Chinese resort that holds daily beer chugging competitions to gain free access to the theme park. The competition requires partners to chug two liters of beer out of a wash basin in under five minutes. Win this competition and receive free entry to the resort as well as the title of "Beer King" or "Queen" -- a coveted designation.

Four 500 ml bottles of beer are poured into each person's wash bin before the beer chugging competition begins. While many competitors call it quits at four minutes, others are able to down the whole thing in just 120 seconds!

Though it may seem like an odd contest to hold, what started as a publicity stunt has turned into a daily competition attracting hundreds of "beer royalty" hopefuls.
