The late artist, radical and romantic Beatrice Wood is a source of inspiration for the artisanal chocolate brand Beato Chocolates. At the age of 24, Beatrice, whose nickname was Beato, became one of the founding members of the Dada movement. The female-run brand pays homage to the artist's visual language by respectfully adapting Beatrice's work to the chocolate packaging medium. The result is a slew of beautiful, eye-catching artisanal chocolate bars that balance flavor and aesthetics. Bed Stories, for example, is a 72% Dark Chocolate with Raspberries bar that is wrapped in a hand-colored etching called "After the Quarrel" that Beatrice Wood produced in 1987 at the age of 94. Dance of the Eunuchs Chocolate Bar, on the other hand, features 84% Dark Chocolate and a hand-colored etching from the same 1987 portfolio.
