The eXasis is a transparent bodied concept car designed by Frank M. Rinderknecht, . He created the vehicle in commemoration of Rinspeed’s 30th anniversary. The transparent body is considered the first ‘Crystal Car”’ Of course, this is figurative since the body is made of a high technology plastic fiber. The transparent car was presented at the Geneva Car Exposition in March, forty years after Bayer’s presentation of the first car which was entirely made of plastic, the K67. On the other side of the world, in the seaside city of Claromecó, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, certain beach concept cars have been designed in a handmade way. The most outstanding peculiarity is that the bodies of these cars have been taken off due to the high levels of saltpeter that corrode and rust the bodies of the cars very quickly. In this way, the inhabitants of Claromecó can enjoy their vehicles and show off in the beaches, dunes, and other attractions of the coast of this beautiful seaside city.
