Almap BBDO created a fun and youthful way to approach beach ball advertising at a festival to promote Hewlett-Packard's new slogan: "Making Memories Last."
HP's 'Festival Photoball' added a new way to capture the experiences and smiles on the faces of concert attendees at Planeta Terra in São Paulo. The big, white inflatable ball was stamped with HP's logo and complete with an integrated WiFi antenna and HD camera. The ball uploaded photos and videos in real-time to the festival website and Facebook.
The photos captured from a unique aerial perspective were tagged by thousands of festival-goers and viewed by millions. Nowadays, a camera is a must-have for sharing the little moments in life and a campaign to capture photos people couldn't get on their own is a great way to get get people excited and engaged.
