The Lanksy Fire Fighter battle axe designs are engineered to aide consumers ever caught in emergency situations. The hatchets are modelled after the high caliber ones used by real life fire fighters and are designed for every day use in life threatening situations. This can range from house or forest fires to everyday wood chopping.

The hatchet features an innovative design focusing on a slim and smaller sized blade than normally seen on an axe. The slimness of the blade allows for more precision when forced is used, allowing consumers better control over the weapon. The handle of the axe is insulated against 10,000 volts and can be used to cut power lines if necessary. The device also features several other embedded tools such as a wrench, pry bar and impact tool.
