The only thing more popular or recognizable than Batman is the Batman logo. The character first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in May 1939.

Rodrigos Rojas created this really fun animated short that shows us the evolution of the Batman logo, including the original 1941 Boy Wonder Detective Comics and the 2006 Batman animated series.
