Proving their devotion to both costumed heroes and creative construction tools, YouTube channel ParanickFilmz has re-created one of the trailers for The Dark Knight Rises entirely in stop motion, using LEGO characters and bricks to make the entire world.

The fact that there are actual Batman-themed LEGO sets certainly helped, but a lot of it looks to have been scratch-built, not to mention the time and effort needed for stop motion animation. What brings it to life are the little clever uses of LEGO bricks, such as a scene where a character draws the bat-symbol being rendered as the character building it with bricks, and the logo at the end shattering into LEGO pieces.

The team has previously made trailers for Harry Potter and other Batman films in a similar style. Stats for LEGO Batman Trailers Trending: Older & Chilly
