In honor of Barbie’s 50th Birthday, Mattel has given their queen a life size Malibu Dream House. This dream house is 3,500 square feet of all things pink, glamorous, and girly. Jonathan Adler was commissioned to design this dream house and captured Barbie’s style in every corner of her home.
The kitchen is complete with a pink kitchen aid, pink utensils, and a pink note on the fridge reminding her to buy peroxide and call Ken. Her closet is filled with pink heels, and the deck around her pool is adorned with pink carpet!
This dream house was the back drop for Barbie’s 50th Birthday Bash, attended by celebs and Barbie lovers alike, but sadly is not available for view by the public. However, in May, Adler will be using some of the same designs to create a Barbie Suite in The Palms Hotel of Las Vegas, that will be available to rent for parties!
