The Barbara Tfank Resort 2014 is not trying to reinvent the wheel. In fact, season after season we see this designer coming up with countless ideas for pretty day and evening dresses. Her silhouettes are mostly inspired by the midcentury with little updates in the past couple of years.

Yet her work doesn't feel dated and that's owed to her fine attention to fabric. It's really the only thing that really makes or breaks her collection of classics and she's seemed to master it seamlessly.

The designer looks to Monet's paintings for her resort inspiration. In terms of color and print, it's a fun time to dream, experiment and play, which is exactly what she did with striped cotton day dresses and faint pinks.
