It does not get worse than this—after the party comes the fall. A bookmaker in the UK is offering odds of 12/1 that Barack will be assassinated. What the hell is wrong with people? Let’s name & shame—it was UK bookmaker Paddypower. who is offering the odds on Barack’s first term. They are already taking a number of bets, and are even considering slashing the odds. Already the spread has fallen from 16/1 after images of the new President’s armed guard emerged. It would pay out if he was killed by a sniper , impeached office, or left for any other reasons. Politicians are campaigning to have these sick bets withdrawn. The betting chain remained defiant saying there was a demand for it. Just because it feels good it does not make it right!
