Barabus to Challenge Bugatti Veyron for World's Fastest Car
With a zero to 60 mph in 1.67 seconds the new Barabus TKR is vying for the top spot in the auto world record book. The TKR is set to begin production later this year. With a reported top speed of over 270 MPH this car should outrun anything on 4 wheels including the Veyron (which tops out at 250 MPH). The frame and body, crafted in Italy, are full carbon fibre. It’s powered by a twin turbo 8 cylinder beast, built in England, that puts out over 1000 horsepower. And at only $500,000 USD you could buy two for the price of one Veyron.
