An outrageous guerrilla ad for MINI Clubman was banned three days after it was projected on the Messeturm in Frankfurt, Germany. The campaign caused a lot of pressure for competitors, ultimately resulting in the termination of the interactive MINI Clubman campaign. A secondary guerilla campaign for MINI in Frankfurt including plastering self-adhesive stickers all of the the city, including ones on parked cars that read, “My other car is a Mini Clubman.” I’m just not sure how they didn’t get stuck with vandalism charges for the cross walks they sabotaged! Check out the video of the banned high rise ad!  A film with an unusual picture language is projected onto Frankfurt’s landmark, the Messeturm, 100 metres over the ground, covering 10 storeys. Four high performance projectors create a projection-surface of 920 m², projected over a distance of 280 metres.
