Breweries and beer corporations in 2008 face an ever-changing landscape and must diversify their portfolios.  Luckily for consumers, this means sampling a great variety of new ales, lagers and lambics. 

Earlier this year Anheuser-Busch released Bud Light Lime.

“The new drink came after years of consumer research that showed customers wanted the occasional flavored drink for special occasions,” said Marlene Coulis, Anheuser-Busch’s vice president of consumer strategy and innovation.

Tweaking classics that have been around since Ancient Egyptian and Medieval Times can be daunting, and consumers have mixed reviews.  Each of these outrageous flavor concoctions can be found in a rare pocket somewhere across the globe.
