Inspired by earthquakes, these origami green hunts feature simple geometric patterns and eco materials. The huts are designed in such a way that they can be easily folded into captivating shapes. The huts won an honourable mention at the Re:Construct competition.

Implications - This foldable home is a great example of innovation born out of chaos, as Ming Tang conceptualized the house after a devastating earthquake hit his home town. The designer intended this folding home to serve as an alternative to temporary shelter, as the picee is "easily produced, cheap and environmentally friendly," making it ideal for disaster relief, poverty assistance and any other emergency precaution.
