Named the New Baghdad, this coffee table consists of a collection of thousands of industrial steel contours brought together by Israeli designer Ezri Tarazi. When all these elements are integrated, the surface of the New Baghdad coffee table represents a map of the Iraqi capital.

Each table is handmade in India.

Implications - Ezri Tarazi states that "the idea behind the table is that each shape's various identities are merged into a cohesive plan." The table was built to be perfectly leveled and "has no prop structure." The 'New Baghdad' coffee table is available in two different sizes. It certainly makes for a very interesting conversation piece and can also be used as a learning tool. Stats for Political Furniture Trending: Older & Chilly
