Bacon Maple Ale Puts a Tasty New Twist on Beer

Rogue is one of west coast’s most well-known craft brewery having delivered some of the best ales and lagers around, and their latest creation is the savory Bacon Maple Ale.

While the Bacon Maple Ale may sound strange, the west coast is known for playing around with flavors, so in a way it’s not all that unusual. This beer is actually a collaboration between Rogue and Voodoo Doughnuts, in which the flavor is inspired by one of the latter’s signature treats. Based on the flavor and the ale, I’d say expect a full-bodied taste from the beer itself with a balanced mix of saltiness from the bacon and sweetness from the doughnut for the palette.
