Adidas has ample experience designing goggles for winter sports like skiing and snowboarding, and the sports apparel company brought that experience to bear with the creation of its Backland Dirt goggles. Rather than shielding faces from the snow and the cold, the Backland Dirt line is tweaked to protect people's eyes while engaging in another extreme, high-speed sport: dirt biking.

As the name implies, the Backland Dirt goggles are an expansion of Adidas' previous Backland goggle line for winter sports. That said, the new goggles are sufficiently re-engineered to provide for the specific needs of dirt bikers. They have shatter-proof polycarbonate lenses that won't succumb to cracks from flung debris like pebbles or mud clods, and they come with an impact-resistant frame that will stay intact should riders suffer any serious falls.
