“Line” by Aykut Erol won Design of The Year at the 2006 Istanbul Design Week. Line has become one of the most astonishing design proposals of recent time with its simplicity and a clever understanding of space. These funky, Turkish racks are an innovative way to decorate halls or walls.
 It has been quite pleasing to see that the world class level work of produced by Turkish designers since 2003 has been gaining attention. As long as these creative works and conceptually sound designs continue to be produced this speedy advancement will continue and design from Turkey will gain it’s rightfully earned place on the world stage. Designs and ideas are universal.
