Moscow-based photographer AyDan Kerimli recently shot a series depicting a pouting Stasya Izyumova (AVANT Models) adorned in flapper-like clothing styled by the talented Alena Kot, designed by the ever inventive Marina Rimer and courtesy of Shooroom - Mode et café. Of course, these looks wouldn't be complete period-appropriate hair and makeup and for this credit is owed to Hovo Arakelyan, who did an amazing job at topping off this Jazz Age look. Last but not least, Mori Lynn's retouching brings the whole series together with a professional polish.

Fashion from the 1920s offers a wide array of stylish aesthetics for fashion designers and photographers to draw on, which may be why Jazz Age sensibilities have been seeing somewhat of a renaissance lately. This photoshoot, as well as films like Lars Buhrmann's adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerrald's classic novel The Great Gatsby, suggest this.
