The Augustenborg Botanical Garden in Sweden is a veritable explosion of colorful vegetation that covers a 9,200 square meter area and three industrial and residential rooftops.
With a colorful arrangement of diverse plants and flowers shaped into creative shapes, the Augustenborg Botanical Garden breaks the stereotype that all "green roofs" are exclusively green, and is a key component of the EcoCity Augustenborg initiative which hopes to turn the entire area into a sustainable and eco-friendly urban environment.
