Airport terminals have a reputation for being overwhelming for travelers, so the new Cote d'Azur Airport at Nice terminal has been synced up to an app, called 'Aéroport Nice,' to help people during their trips. The app communicates with beacons placed around Terminal 1, giving travelers updates and information as they move around the various areas.

Aéroport Nice comes with many beacon-enabled features. From a pragmatic standpoint, it gives travelers important information about flights, showing users which gates flights are departing from or arriving at and giving them directions on how to get there.

The app also helps with travelers who have time to kill before a flight. It uses a beacon near the new retail area to alert travelers to promotions, letting travelers get shopping in before their trip.
