The Aquaovo Ovopur has been named as a Best of the Year 2009 kitchen appliance by Interior Design Magazine. The elegant Ovopur water filtration device has won numerous awards for its innovative natural materials, design, and gorgeous looks. Ovopur is a water filtration system that delivers pure water in high style. Montreal-based Aquaovo’s ecopreneur and co-founder Manuel Descrochers is a water purity expert who created the four-layered egg-shaped water filtration system.  Our unit has been designed to reduce plastic use and plastic contact with water as much as possible. Most of it is made of chemical free porcelain with lead free glazing. The filtration cartridge is made from hand blown lead free Pyrex glass. The only ‘‘plastics’’ in direct contact with water are silicone gaskets and some polypropylene separator parts in the filtration cartridge.
