Recently the architects behind Chicago’s Aqua tower, Studio Gang, won the PETA Proggy award for its use of bird deflecting materials in the residential building and hotel.

Apparently the wave like exterior and etched glss help prevent our avian friends from flying into the closed windows.

Along with this eco element, the building includes 55 000 square feet of retail space, office space, hotel rooms, condo units and apartments.
