Tech-savvy people have been buzzing about the latest announcements revealed during the 2014 WWDC conference, the Apple OS X Yosemite software update being one of them. The newest desktop operating system is exciting because it supports Apple's complementary Continuity system, which is set to make juggling different devices much more seamless and convenient.

Yet in addition to the introduction of uniformity, the Apple OS X Yosemite software update rolls out translucent Finder window menus, image backgrounds that dynamically shift for personality and color temperature and a refreshed dock that boasts flatter icons and a new trashcan. Although set to be officially released this fall, a beta version of the Apple OS X Yosemite will be available much sooner. It is a highly anticipated and extensive update.
