The Apple keynote revealed the new Apple TV remote featuring an emphasis on gaming and user-friendly accessibility.

The new Apple TV features a brand new remote that completely changes the way the Apple TV is used. The remote enables touch functionality and can be controlled through 'Siri' -- Apple's voice command system. The remote also comes equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 and is able to connect directly with your Apple Watch -- this can be used for exercising apps on the Apple TV and simultaneous health monitoring on the Apple Watch. The remote can even control the volume and lasts up to three months on a single charge.

The Apple keynote featured an emphasis on gaming on the new Apple TV, along with other great apps and incredible content. Apple sees the growing use of apps for television and movie experiences and boasts Apple TV as "the future of television coming now."
