Drones are still very new technology, and regulating them is a huge challenge for airspace monitors, so the ApolloShield system is offering a way for consumers to take the matter into their own hands. The system is a drone detector that not only keeps tabs on whether or not drones are over a specified airspace, but actively takes control of the drones and forces them to "go home" and land safely.

The ApolloShield system is multifaceted, detecting drones through a series of conjunctive technologies that include cameras, audio sensors, radio sensors, and more, ensuring that no drones will escape detection. The system then uses its proprietary software to override the commands of the drone's original operator, sending a "go home" command that guides the drone back to an approximation of where it was receiving its remote signal.
