The Villa Anemolia is an apartment in Greece that went under a renovation to create a peaceful vacation spot. Designed by MPLUSM Architects, the company took on the project to give the preexisting house a level of architectural simplicity.

Each room maintains its original cavernous structure, but skylights and natural lighting are implemented in the walls and ceiling to brighten up the interiors. It's a cozy and luminous villa that’s stored away from crowded areas of the city.

While the architecture remains traditional, the interiors are impeccably modern. This entails gray carpets, wooden platforms for seating, and built in wall cubbies for electronics. The recessed windows look like little pixels scattered across the walls, adding to the modern charm of this traditional abode.
