The Antonio Berardi Resort 2014 Collection is rich with Catholic ritual and has always been a building block when it comes to the designer's inspiration. For this season, he takes on the Brazilian version of voodoo as his driving force stating, "I like the sense of ceremony."

His statement translates into a graphic, high-priestess-inspired group of black and white ensembles shot through with lace and pared down by Berardi's own body-conscious signature.

The rainforest made its presence felt in prints, chasing after something hot and sultry with the feeling of nature and green with flesh underneath. He also used embroidery to duplicate the effect of hummingbird wings. Still, Berardi's rigorous precision ultimate defined the collection rather than the theme.
