Getting doused with water mid-day is not something many people would welcome with open arms, but animals getting wet with water is an everyday occurrence. The guys at Earth Unplugged created a YouTube video of animals shaking off water in surreal slow motion.

The idea to shoot the video originated from a study by people at Georgia Institute of Technology who were researching about the different frequencies animals shook their fur to get rid of excess water. The clip featured adorable critters such as a hedgehog, a rat and a dog, all of which where were doused with water- hopefully luke warm water. The clip also featured one of the crew members shaking off a water soaked wig to find out the how many shakes an average would make, it was 4.2 shakes per second.
