There is origami and then there are the animal paper sculptures of Wolfram Kampffmeyer. Better known by his alias, PaperWolf, he creates stunning geometric models of wild animals, many of which can be likened to taxidermy and trophies. Yet what sets the animal paper sculptures apart from such art forms is the fact that they fall more into a craft category.

Although he has a background in computer animation, Kampffmeyer's animal paper sculptures are made in real life. From foxes to flamingoes and even unicorns, he creates a range of colorful and faceted designs that would be proudly displayed in any home or even work studio. Templates can be purchased for those who want to make their own.
